Guys…where has this week gone? One day it’s Easter and suddenly, it’s almost Mother’s Day! Whether you’re celebrating with your own Mom, your Mother-In-Law, your Grandma, your children (yes, that includes furry ones) or any other wonderful woman in your life, you’ll likely want to get a little bit dressed up. Now, I’m not one to be all fancy-schmancy, but I have to admit that I love getting a little dolled up for a special occasion. If you’re staring into your closet thinking, I have nothing to wear (which is me on a regular basis), then maybe this fresh, spring-y Mother’s Day outfit will help to inspire you.

I got this dress at Joe Fresh which keeps surprising me with seriously great pieces. Most of their dresses are under $30CAD and they often have promos where you can score an additional % off your purchase. I was quite surprised with this dress because it seemed like it was going to be see-through due to the light colors and the lightweight fabric, but it’s not! The best part about Joe Fresh is that they’re in a bunch of grocery stores near me, so I can grocery shop and *accidentally* also clothes shop.

I don’t know where I’d be without my jean jacket this season. I got this one at American Eagle (which is where I get about 90% of my denim) and it goes with almost everything. You’ll definitely be seeing this a LOT in the next little while.

As  much as I love collecting shoes (especially stilettos), I’m not that keen on actually wearing them. I honestly lack the confidence and coordination needed to wear 4″-5″ heels in public, so I’ll stick to admiring them on my shelves 😉 Boots with mid-height heels, however, are much easier for me to prance around in. They also look really cute with dresses! These Jessica Simpson ones were a major steal at Marshall’s (under $50!) and they’re very comfortable and go with almost anything.

Isn’t this midi-ring so cute? I got this as part of a 4-ring set at H&M and the small triangle one is from Old Navy. Now, I know I go on and on (and on and on and…you get it) about Victoria Emerson bracelets, but this one is made by Nakamol (I got mine at Marshalls). I’m starting to wonder if I like this brand a teensy bit more than Victoria Emerson. Nakamol’s bracelets typically seem a little sparklier and they do more creative designs than Victoria Emerson does overall. I’m not sure what the big stone is in the middle of this bracelet, but it’s absolutely gorgeous! I also love that they used pink leather instead of the typical black, brown or tan. Honestly, I think it’s almost time for me to create a closet just for my wrap bracelets 😛

I love this necklace from American Eagle! The only issue I have with it is that it makes a lot of noise when I walk. Big problems, I know 😉

I hope you enjoyed this outfit inspo for Mother’s Day! I’d love to hear what you ladies are planning to wear this weekend, so please feel free to share in the comments below 🙂
