What better way to brighten up a gloomy Monday than with this fun poncho? As soon as I laid eyes on it at the Lucky store, I knew I had to have it. I tried it on and it was everything I could have asked for in a poncho. Naturally, I let it sit around in my closet for a good few weeks before finally wearing it because I needed the first time to be special. Does anyone else do this with their new clothes? Maybe I’m just a lonesome weirdo in that department 😛

Anyway, so I finally decided it was time to wear my new favorite poncho and I’m in LURVE. It’s so soft! I love the fact that it’s bright and colorful without being too bright and colorful for this time of year.  It adds an instant boho vibe to any outfit, which I’m always a fan of. My favorite tee to pair it with is this burgundy-ish one. It would also look awesome with a LOT of different colors like lavender, pink, red, black, grey, etc.

As you must already be aware, these jeans are my absolute favorite right now. I wear them a LOT. I’m not exactly sure why I even own other jeans with these ones around! They’re the perfect color AND fit, so they end up being my go-to, especially on days when I’m in a rush because I know they’ll look great.

I’m also very VERY in love with these ankle boots right now. I picked them up at TJ Maxx on clearance right after I told myself, Nicki, you don’t need anymore shoes so DON’T go into the shoe section. What can I say? I loved these shoes the instant I put them on and they were too good of a deal to pass up ($34 for soft, buttery suede in my exact size).

As I was putting the final touches on my outfit, I thought to myself, would it be overkill to add a fringed purse? The obvious answer is NO. Fringe = happiness. End of story.
