Holiday Outfit Inspiration #3: Striped Sweater Dress

Happy Friday everyone! We’re getting so close to Christmas and I’m getting so excited!! I’m totally in the Christmas spirit now, as you can probably tell from all the Christmas-y posts lately.

This outfit is probably my favorite holiday look that I’ve shared with you guys. The main reason is because it’s the most comfortable and the colors are so Christmas-y, yet appropriate all throughout the fall/winter season. Sweater dresses are just so wonderful! I love the fact that I could be in the laziest mood, throw on a sweater dress with a few accessories and a cute pair of boots and suddenly I fool the world into thinking I really tried with my outfit. They really are the perfect mix of chic and comfy.

OK, enough raving about sweater dresses! I paired mine with these wine-colored ankle boots and pantyhose to give it a bit of a dressier vibe. However, you could skip the pantyhose and wear OTK boots for a bit more of a casual-cool feel. To up the cozy-factor, I finished the look off with this fluffy scarf (which is one of my favorites right now).
