Pops Of Green

Woot woot – we made it to the halfway point of the week once again 😀 Today, I’m sharing a look that’s all about the pops of green. Set on a very neutral backdrop of black, denim and camel, the green just pops right out like the star of the show. I was inspired by my scarf, which I picked up for super cheap ($12.50CAD, y’all!) at American Eagle the other day. It had the same green as the purse I picked up a little while ago at Charming Charlie, so I thought this was the perfect time to style both items.

I love these jeans that I also picked up recently! I got them on sale at Winners for a measly $26! They’re the type of jeans that fit like they were literally made for me. I’d never heard of the brand before (Lexxury), so I looked it up when I got home. It looks like a fairly small company based out of the U.K. with barely any styles online. I linked a pair of very similar American Eagle ones since they fit quite similarly.

This sweater is one I picked up last year at Marciano. It’s such a great cardigan to throw on top of jeans or a dress – it works great with both! Sadly, it’s no longer available online and I couldn’t find any similar ones to link 🙁 If I do, I’ll update this post.

And, of course, I layered it all on top of my favorite closet staple of the season, the Old Navy waffle tee. You seriously can’t go wrong with these! I was actually at the store yesterday (here in Canada) and they had a promotion on these tees and they were $5!! I think Old Navy is my New Favorite Store this season, seriously. They’ve seriously improved this year both with their fits and their materials. The fact that they’ve had major sales these past few weeks just make it an unbeatable store to shop at right now.
