Aqua Crochet Top

He was my little buddy – he wouldn’t stop following me around!

I guess I’m really having a love affair with crochet lately. My last post featured my favorite crochet shorts and now it’s all about my aqua crochet top. I just can’t stop! As you all must know, aqua is my favorite color (aside from pink), so anytime I find something in this lovely color, I’m immediately drawn to it. So, of course, when I saw this top at Ross, I snapped it up. The best part is, it was only $5!! You know I can’t pass up a deal like that. It was such a hot day when I wore this, so I kept it simple and cool with denim shorts and a few aqua accessories.

We shot these photos at a Bird Sanctuary near our rental here in Florida and it’s such a neat little place! There’s a boardwalk that takes you through several habitats where they house birds that they’ve rescued and rehabilitated. There were hawks, turkey vultures, pelicans and many more species of birds. The white ibis that’s in a few of my pictures was roaming around and he wouldn’t leave me alone! Every time I walked somewhere else, he’d pop up and say hello. Being the animal lover that I am, I was thrilled to have his company. He wasn’t shy at all! I love making new animal friends (yeah, I realize I sound like a Disney character when I say that lol).
